Information we collect
When you subscribe or become a member, we may collect your email address, subscription status and payment-related identifiers. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by Eastern Engine.
Audience analytics
Eastern Engine uses privacy-conscious first-party audience analytics only after a visitor chooses to allow analytics. If you allow analytics, the site may store a pseudonymous browser identifier in local storage and record page paths, referral information, approximate country or city information supplied by hosting infrastructure, and visit timestamps. If you decline, Eastern Engine does not create the analytics visitor identifier or send page-view analytics. Eastern Engine does not intentionally store visitors' IP addresses in its analytics database.
How we use information
We use subscriber and audience information to deliver the Eastern Engine newsletter, manage access, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, understand readership and improve the service.
Subscribers can unsubscribe from newsletter emails using the unsubscribe link included in each message.
Service providers
Eastern Engine uses third-party infrastructure and service providers for hosting, email delivery, payments and analytics storage. Those providers may process technical information according to their own privacy terms when providing their services.
